The Race

D-Day is May 6th.
Starts in Beautiful Downtown Providence.

Cox Rhode Races site has all the information if you're interested in joining me in this adventure.

A great month for a marathon. Hopefully the weather won't be too hot yet.

7:30 am is the Gun time.  Which means I'll be up before the sun rises to prep.

Sounds like a fantastic weekend for the family.

Besides the Marathon, there will be a 1/2 Marathon, a 5k, and a kid's "Marathon" Scavenger Hunt focused on nutrition and exercise. There is truly something for everyone!

Which means, there are many other races for me to take part in if I wimp out on my goal....

Just Kidding. There is no backing out! Gulp.

  1. Found your blog through the link in DM. I ran the Cox last year as my first marathon as well. You will do great. It seems like you have a good training base. I am doing the Cox again this year and will look forward to following your training on the the dailymile.
